Privacy Policy
Your photos go from Apple to your computer — never to us. This page explains the limited data we do process to run subscriptions and support.
This Privacy Policy explains how S9FT TECH (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Export iCloud desktop app and the website export-icloud.com.
1. Your photos and videos
Export iCloud is a desktop app. When you export, photos and videos are downloaded directly from Apple’s servers to the folder you choose on your own computer or drive. They are never uploaded to, stored on, or viewed by our servers.
When you use Export and Delete, the deletion request is sent from your computer directly to Apple after each file has been saved.
2. Your Apple ID credentials
You sign in to iCloud inside the app. Your password and two-factor code are sent only to Apple to create a session. The resulting session is cached locally on your device so you don’t have to sign in every time. We do not receive or store your Apple ID password. You can remove a saved session at any time with Disconnect or Delete account in the app.
3. Information we do process
To provide subscriptions, quotas and support, the app sends limited information to our server:
- Account identifier: the Apple ID email address you connect with, used as your Export iCloud account ID.
- Device information: a randomly generated install ID and device ID, operating system and app version.
- Usage counts: the number of files exported, used to calculate your remaining quota. We do not receive file names or content.
- Diagnostics: when an error occurs, the app may send an error event and message together with your account email and device ID so we can investigate and help you.
- Billing: if you buy a plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference; we never see your full card details.
4. Website
The website uses:
- Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and how many downloads start.
- Rewardful referral cookies, if you arrive through a partner link, so the partner can be credited.
- Cloudflare to host and protect the website.
- An embedded YouTube video that loads only after you click play.
5. Service providers
We use Google Cloud (account and quota service), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website and downloads), Google Analytics and Rewardful. They process data only as needed to provide their services to us.
6. Retention and your choices
We keep account, quota and billing records while your account is active and as required for tax and accounting. Diagnostic records are kept only as long as needed to troubleshoot. You can ask us to access or delete your account data by emailing support@export-icloud.com from, or quoting, the Apple ID email you used in the app.
We do not sell your personal information.
7. Children
Export iCloud is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Updated” date below shows the latest revision.
